Yamba Boarding Kennels & Cattery has been proudly owned and operated by Garry and Tina Downes since July 2000.

In addition to an on-call veterinarian, we have the combined experience of over 50 years of caring for domestic animals, so you may rest assured your pet will receive a high standard of love, care and personal attention.

Dogs must be vaccinated with at least a C5.

Cats must be vaccinated with at least an F3.

Proof of vaccination is required on, or before, the day of arrival.

Unvaccinated pets, or those without proof, will NOT be accepted.

PLEASE NOTE: We require at least 14 days between boosting and boarding. 

We DO NOT accept pets with sutures, or those requiring bandage/dressing changes!

The cattery is located away from the dog kennels, so as to minimise noise and/or stress. It is surrounded by native gardens in order to provide a safe and relaxing environment.

Small and large dogs are housed in separate buildings with seperate exercise yards, in order for everyone to fully enjoy their stay.

In order to minimise unnecessary stress and/or excitement - we do not allow people to visit, or take their pets out for day trips.

Please respect our drop-off and pickup times, so all our boarders will have a quiet and enjoyable stay with us (and owners will avoid paying the $80 "out of hours" penalty fee).

 4pm to 6pm

BUSINESS is COMPLETELY CLOSED for Annual Break

in 2024, from 6pm Thursday 31st October, to 7:30am Friday 8th November
